I've finally found the perfect area to settle in and work from...just in time for the busiest time of year! Finding the right work area in this house has been a process for sure: The basement had tons of room, but it felt so isolated and depressing to be down there all day with no windows. I still use it to make my stones and do shipping....it's still ideal for those jobs! There was an upstairs bedroom available, so we got it painted and set up...but it too was on the dark side of the house. I also found myself having to go up and down two flights of stairs wayyy more than I cared to, since I was working from both the basement and the room; good exercise, but super frustrating and a time waster. The garage was the same feeling as the basement: great in theory, but not comfortable. Finally! The dining area! We had already remodeled this room from the time we bought this house in 2019, but it still wasn't being used...just more of an extra living room with a TV and couch. I moved my paint table in and pretty soon I was in there all the time and *EUREKA*, an idea was born!๐

It's still a mess but a work in progress, and I'm super thrilled to have both a table for painting and a separate desk for computer work.๐ I'm currently in need of a unit for supplies, maybe a bookshelf/cabinet combo? Please recommend any places you've had luck with finding storage options๐
